I have and I've always found them to be safe and secure. I would suggest that for betting, you go with some of the more well-known names. The bigger the company, the more likely they are to have audited security systems, data protection mechanisms and safe playing environments.
Casinos are a little less well regulated, but again, if you go for the casinos that you recognise then you should be ok.
Doesn't mean you're any more likely to win though !
